The abbreviation PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition and is a process in which the material in a vacuum chamber is treated with laser beams, magnetically deflected ions or electrons, which results in surfaces with extremely high scratch and abrasion resistance as well as protection against a wide range of corrosive influences.
Neutral in allergies and the environment
PVD treatment is neutral in both allergies and the environment and is recommended in situations where high demands are made on wear resistance, corrosion protection, chemical influences, and other conditions where the product is exposed to extreme influences.
