AART Designers is a dedicated design lab in closely synergy with AART Architects, a Nordic award winning architectural firm with offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen and Oslo. Together we are a dynamic community of designers and architects who combine creative visions with strategic design thinking.
Our passion is the intersection between design, architecture and technology – where we bring design into play, forming strong experiences and interactions between the users and their surroundings.
For over 15 years, we have designed a wide range of architectural projects in all scales, from product design and interior solutions to buildings, public spaces and large scale urban planning. All projects are driven by the desire to open up new perspectives for people, businesses and society in general.
AART Designers are the people behind the lever handle, Wing, from the Randi-Line® series.
The vision was to create symbiosis between the stringent and the organic. To achieve an uncluttered architectural look in harmony with the soft ergonomics of the hand. “Wing” was the obvious name to choose. The aerodynamic shape of a wing balances between the stringent sharpness that cuts through the air, and the organic softness that adapts to and catches the updraught.
